The Metal X machine from Markforged is a metal additive manufacturing printer. Based on the Metal FFF (fused filament fabrication) technology that starts from a filament that combines metallic material with a binder. Once the “green” geometry is printed, a catalytic cleaning process is applied to remove the binder, and finally a furnace sintering process is carried out. The material options are: • 17-4 ph stainless steel, • Copper • H13, A2 and D2 tool steels, • Inconel 625. The maximum size of printed part 300 x 220 height 180 mm
