the installation of 3D printing with Multi Het Fusion technology is composed by the HP 4200 Printing Unit, the process station with fast cooling, the build unit, dry blast equipment and a vacuum cleaner. Currently a resistant thermoplastic material PA12 is used. This technology does not require supports and allows the manufacture of interlocking assemblies without exploding. The effective production volume is 406x305x406 mm3, the production speed is 4,500 cm3/hour, the layer thickness is 70-120 microns and the resolution in x-y plane of 1,200 dpi. Regarding the dimensional precision, the tolerance is 0.2 mm in geometry less than 100 mm and 2% in higher geometries.
