NAME Sensorised wire and die sinking EDM cell for high precision applications.

DESCRIPTION

The cell consists of two main installations and a process signal measuring instrument. The ONA QX7 4-axis machine, capable of interpolating up to 6 axes at the same time, has a tool changer with the option of integrating highly automatable part and tool changing robots. Generator of 200 amps of power, adaptable to obtain from mirror finishes to high material removal rates. Option to include a parameterised programming module to adapt the processes to the conditions at any given moment. In addition, there is an ONA AV35 5-axis interpolating wire machine with the capacity to integrate 7 axes. With the latest generation generator capable of achieving low roughness and high precision or high material removal rates and with an expert system for the optimisation and monitoring of process parameters. Both machines have specific technologies for cutting aeronautical and ceramic materials. There is also an additional rotary axis that can be integrated in both machines to make parts that require high geometric complexity. Equipment has a high level of sensorization and process variables can be acquired, in order to change machine conditions. In addition, for applications requiring greater control, a digital oscilloscope with voltage and current probes can be integrated with a bandwidth of 350Mhz, sampling frequency of 5GS/s and 4 channels.

    PEM CWT1 probe with sensitivity of 20mV/A and peak current of 0.3kA. PEM CWT6 probe with sensitivity of 5mV/A and peak current of 1.2kA.

  • Oscilloscope TEKTRONIX DPO5034B

    4-channel digital oscilloscope with 350Mhz bandwidth and a sampling rate of 5GSPS.

  • Sinking electrical discharge machine ONA QX7

    4-axis (X,Y,Z,C) die sinking EDM machine with the possibility to add a rotary indexing table. Large machine, travels: 1500mm X, 750mm Y, 650mm Z. Workpieces up to 10000Kg. 11 position electrode changer. EROWA electrode clamping system, fume extraction system, fire extinguishing system.

  • Wire electrical discharge machine ONA AV35

    5-axis wire EDM machine (X,Y,Z,U,V) with option to add rotary indexing table. Axis dimensions: 600mm X, 400mm Y, 400mm Z, 120mm U-V. Maximum piece weight 1500kg. Automatic threading system, 21 inch touch screen, filter unit up to 3micron.
