NAME Systems for mechanical properties and microstructure determination by magnetic non-destructive measurements

DESCRIPTION

Device to measure magnetic properties, which allows obtaining an indirect characterisation of mechanical properties or the microstructure of ferromagnetic parts. Non-destructive testing device useful to detect production defects as variations in the surface hardness, residual stresses, hardened layer or grinding burns. Self-developed magnetic properties measurement system that can work with commercial or customised sensors depending on the geometry and characteristics of the part to be tested. This system can be used for manual measurements or automatised measurements by means of a robot using our customised compliant systems. Mechanical properties values of the parts can be obtained by calibration and measurement of magnetic properties.
