Air loop
Thermal loop, consisting in a closed hydraulic loop using air as heat transfer fluid, able to deliver hot air up to 800ºC and variable mass flow up to 360 kg/h. The facility contains a 100kW heater, automatic three-way valves and instrumentation. The facility is prepared to insert any type of testing object in the hydraulic loop. All the system is controlled by remote using Labview and is able to subject the testing objects to high temperatures and automatic thermal cycles, consisting in heating and cooling steps with different heating and cooling rates. The system allows as well to automatically change the direction of the air flow.
Oil loop
Thermal loop, consisting in a closed hydraulic loop, containing a 40kW heater, 100kW heat exchanger, automatic three-way valves and instrumentation. All the system is controlled by remote usign Labview.
