DESCRIPTION

The Digital Health Laboratory offers: 1) knowledge in neurotechnology-neurorehabilitation and medical robotics (extraction of characteristics from physiological and clinical data); 2) conceptualization of Artificial Intelligence-Machine Learning schemes incorporating data fusion methods and calculation engines both predictive (diagnosis) and prescriptive (treatment); 3) cybersecurity techniques (privacy). This laboratory allows to conceptualize new developments or to test existing ones.

MOST OUTSTANDING EQUIPMENT AND COMPONENTS

  • High-performance computational cluster

    The high-performance computational cluster offers high computing capacity for the development of the experiments that are carried out. It has high-capacity, high-performance parallel storage and compute nodes and InfiniBand connection between nodes for minimal latency. Eight nodes are available for an Intel Xeon processor cluster supercomputer.

  • Scientific computing center specialized in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data

    We have a scientific computing center specialized in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, where we can develop, test and experiment with the development of artificial intelligence models that solve the objectives of each project, equipped with: 1) Big Data Infrastructure: HortonWorks, RAW, Spark Real -time; 2) CPU Infrastructure (Proc-CPU): 4 x86 platform-based machines with 28-core Intel Xeon Platinum processors; 3) GPU computing infrastructure Specific platform for Artificial Intelligence models based on GPUs (e.g. Deep Learning). Two machines provided with 4 x TESLA V100, each with 16 Mb of memory; and 4) CLOUD Infrastructure Virtualization system "on premise", hardware environment for experimentation of distributed systems, collection of mobile content, content processing, long-term cloud storage and backup, interconnection of systems in the rack, parameterizable Firewall, module hardware security

Provide connectivity to medical devices, integration with the cloud and development of a data analytics layer

Development of proofs of concept of digital health solutions based on artificial intelligence and data analytics. Ideation and conceptualization.
