Wet regenerative of sand
Preparation of 2 kg mixtures and manufacturing of samples with the appropriate format to test different physical and mechanical properties: permeability, resistance to compression, flexion, Reformulation of mixtures and compositions by testing.
Equipment for the regeneration of sands using a small-scale wet process to evaluate the behavior of materials and/or formulations. Study the useful life and regeneration cycles and applicable use to different sands. The tests could be done in different conditions (room temperature, high temperatures, acidic means, basic means, surfactants,…)
Availability of a laboratory-scale and a semi-industrial scale sieving equipment to prepare and classify materials (new sand, sand return, regenerated…) in different particle sizes 0.020 – 30 mm and subsequently prepare mixtures.
