NAME Monitored broaching test bench with broaching tool control system

DESCRIPTION

High-speed broaching test bench for research and development of new high-performance cutting technologies of aeronautical and energy sector parts. The bench is compose of high power Fagor motors drive by digital servo drive system and electromechanical rack pinion transmission with a vertical travel of 3150mm. The equipment includes a broaching tool wear control system and geometry/profile parts measurement capability. The monitoring system includes acceleration and power sensors and an edge device for machine/process fingerprint monitoring.

  • Broaching centre EKIN A218/ RASHEM 7x3000x500

    Electromechanical broaching machine. 3000 mm axis travel in Z axis, 3000 mm in Z1 axis. Maximum feed rate of 40m/min. 1250mm circular table. Numerical control Fagor CNC 8070.

  • Cutting tool cutting edge control equipment

    A set of devices consisting of an optimal microscope and a software system for monitoring the wear and breakage of the broaching teeth.

  • Edge computing system for acquisition of relevant machine data

    Device for obtaining and processing machine data and other connected peripheral,s data and then uploading them to the centre's internal cloud on its servers.

  • Sensors for process monitoring: vibration, position, speed, frequency, temperature, etc.

    Accelerometers, load cells and thermocouples for online process control.
