High-speed broaching test bench for research and development of new high-performance cutting technologies of aeronautical and energy sector parts. The bench is compose of high power Fagor motors drive by digital servo drive system and electromechanical rack pinion transmission with a vertical travel of 3150mm. The equipment includes a broaching tool wear control system and geometry/profile parts measurement capability. The monitoring system includes acceleration and power sensors and an edge device for machine/process fingerprint monitoring.
