Autonomous Mobile Robot to transport objects in a flexible way indoors. The load capacity of the robot is 50kg. It has a 25 meter lidar, an Inertial Measurement Unit, a wheel encoder, proximity sensors and an RGB-D camera. This data and the software developed by Vicomtech allow the robot to create a map of its environment and locate itself precisely in it. In addition, the software also has a planning algorithm so that the robot moves autonomously to known points on the map safely, avoiding fixed and mobile obstacles.
Internal logistics with mobile robots
AMR charging station
Base to connect AMR to the network and charge the batteries automatically
Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) TIAGo Base
autonomous mobile robot with 50kg capacity
Intel REALSENSE RGB-D Camera D435
Camera that captures images in color with information about the depth of objects
Module for precise location of the AMR
Tool to accurately locate the robot on the map
To find out if the robot meets the requirements for the specific use that the client needs, feasibility analyzes and concept tests are carried out. These include various tests both in the laboratory and on site, such as the creation of scenario maps, high-precision movement tests and integration tests with other equipment.
The equipment can be used to move objects flexibly in both an industrial and non-industrial workspace. Its use saves time and improves efficiency. Depending on the conditions, it can also be used in hostile environments for workers, assuming an improvement in safety.
