It is a bench-top unit that works as follows:
- The system automatically loads the fluids and sample into the circuit following the process recipe ordered by the user.
- Stirring chamber. The necessary products, including the magnetic particles of the sample and the labelled antibodies, arrive sequentially in the cavity where the immunocomplex is formed.
- Measuring chamber. Once the immunoassay has formed correctly, the magnetic particles are drawn into the chamber where they are magnetically captured by a permanent magnet placed underneath the electrochemical chip. The magnetic particles captured on top of the chip generate a reaction proportional to the concentration of analyte contained in the sample.
- The result is obtained 30 minutes after sample loading.

- Control module: hardware/software that governs the microvalves and the regulation of the mycofluidic circuits.
- Loading module: allows the loading and mixing of fluids according to the specific recipe introduced by the user.
- Stirring module: by stirring the mixture with the different elements, the sample preparation process is accelerated.
- Measurement module: the functionalised magnetic particles are directed to the measurement area where the electrode is located, and once magnetically captured, the measurement is carried out.
