This equipment consists of a mechanical infrastructure whose physical characteristics comply with the IP64 specification. The design of this robot allows us to obtain a model whose maximum reach is 1559 mm at its maximum extension, the manipulation of a nominal load of 60 Kg through six degrees of freedom, 3 rotational and 3 translational.
The control of the robot is carried out externally on a PC-PLC and the libraries developed for this purpose are not limited to a specific system or environment. The entire electrical and power system has been developed by MGEP.
Currently, the drives of this robot are made up of 6 Beckhoff Servo motors, specifically:
• 2x AM8071-3SH1-1001,
• Mo=31,50Nm
• 400-480V
• Io=24,20A,
• Nn=4000 1/min
• 1x AM8061-3KH1-1001
• Mo=12,8Nm
• 400-480V
• Io=10,0A
• Nn=4000 1/min
• 3x AM8042-3FH1-1001
• Mo=4,1Nm,
• 400-480V
• Io=4,1A
• Nn=5000 1/min
• Drivers of servo motors
• AX5125-0000-0202 / Standard
• AX5112-0000-0202 / Standard
• AX5206-0000-0202 / Standard
• AX5106-0000-0202 / Standard
• AX5805-0000 (TwinSafe secure driver).
• AX5901-0000
• AX5911-0000
• PC-PLC IPC C6017 with 4 Ethernet, 4 nucleous, and Windows 10.
However, both the drives and the control element and other peripheral devices can be replaced and modified, since the architecture of the robot is not limited to these elements.
A whole set of open, multi-platform libraries has been developed for the control and planning of trajectories.
There is real-time communication that allows the development of control algorithms without the limitations inherent to any commercial equipment with similar characteristics.
Digital twin: the MGEP research group has carried out an estimation of the robot's dynamics, which allows obtaining a digital model that accurately emulates and predicts the robot's performance in a simulation environment.
