Laser welding station for similar and dissimilar materials (polymer-metal)
DESCRIPTION
Welding and joining using laser technologies: 3-axis workstation for welding similar materials (thermoplastics, metals), dissimilar materials (polymer-metal, polymers) as well as for the preparation of surfaces to improve their adhesion to other materials. This asset makes possible to study welding and joining processes of different materials and geometries by adapting pneumatic tooling. The asset also offers the possibility of introducing physical modifications at surface level to improve functionalities related to friction, liquid adhesion or hydrodynamic and aerodynamic properties.
